SSB at Varanansi

Here comes another one from the PITARA. This time a candidate's perspective to AFSB Varanasi.
There is false words out there that it is a rejection board. Don't listen to them. This board is a great board. Just go prepared.

Since I came a few days early, I visited some of the tourist places here, like Sarnath and some other place. The auto drivers cost a little too much and guides are shit.
Sorry to deviate from the topic.😅😅😅

Honestly, the view is never like this.

On the day of the reporting we reported to the railway station, a few people had already come there, all candidates, there one representative was there, a little documents check, and then off to 4AFSB. It is just walking distance from railway station, but still they would do a lot drama(as expected).

Then we went inside the campus, had our breakfast which miraculously was Cornflakes mixed with Pudina Chutney and Cauliflower.
I dont know who invented the dish and how, but it tasted good, not stomach filling, but good.

Afterwards we were made to sit in another room and spent some time there, while the other candidates had their meal.

Afterwards we were asked to move out,and Freshers and Repeaters were separated . We went to a big hall type place. All were given a chest number. I got chest number 75. The chest numbers were given according to birthdays, the youngest ones getting the first chest number and so on.

Then there was a form filling. Regarding travel and some more things.

Then finally began our assessment. First test was OIR which really to say was not difficult at all. Before the test they give one sample test also.

After that we were asked to vacate the hall and go and stand outside ,kind of like a break. Then again after sometime we were called in batches of 15 for PPDT test.
The picture shown is very hazy, cant make out anything. In my view it was like a rescue mission going on. The time given to write the story was very less. By the time I came to the main part of story, the time was up.
Then we were escorted to another block where there was Discussion on the same.
Most of my group cleared the PPDT, the effect of coaching was very evident upon most of them.

Then the results were announced. Fortunately got screened in. Then we were escorted to the bus which was carrying our luggage. We were asked to seperate our luggage and mark it with a paper. While we were instructed to switch off our phones but carry with us.

Again we were taken into the same hall where we had PPDT. This time there was documents check. Which took a lot of time. There was confusion all around.

After that lunch. Now lunch was very satisfying.😂😂

Then again we assembled at the same hall and were given new chest numbers. This time it was 33.

We were then taken to our room, seperated according to chest numbers. The thing about 4AFSB is that rooms are awesome.Almost like a hotel room. Great beds, lot of facilities, even an iron box inside. Above all....there were ACs. 4 AC per room. And trust me, AC makes everything great.

Then again in evening we had Psych test beginning from 6PM. It ended well into the night. Coming outside, the time was around 9:30. Then dinner and off to our rooms.
By this time the schedule of interview and GTO was announced. I had GTO next day and interview the day after.

Keep visiting the blog for the further process.
